Industry Notice｜Major Shipping Lines to Adjust Multiple Surcharges from August, New Changes in Export Shipping Costs
CMA CGM and other shipping lines have announced the imposition of an Emergency Bunker Surcharge effective August 1. Meanwhile, the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) will be adjusted, and the War Risk Surcharge (WRS) will remain applicable on selected routes. These miscellaneous fees have become regular shipping costs, which foreign trade enterprises shall fully incorporate into freight budget calculation.
